Crashed Motorcyclist Dies At Hospital After Being Pulled From Water Under I-95 Ramp: Police

The motorcyclist who was pulled from the waters under I-95 in Baltimore on Monday afternoon after crashing has died, Maryland Transportation Authority Police officials confirmed.

At approximately 12:40 p.m. on April 29, officers were called to the southbound ramp of I-395 leading to I-95 south, where there was a reported crash that involved a rider being ejected and sent over the barrier and into the water below.

It was determined by investigators that a black Kawasaki motorcycle has been involved in a single-vehicle crash, where the driver was ejected and fell to the water below the ramp.

The Baltimore City Fire Department made a rescue, and was able to recover the motorcyclist, who was rushed to an area hospital and later died from the injuries.

It remains under investigation.
